Report: Bajaj Auto To Loosen Up Updated Pulsar Range In Coming Weeks

This festive season, as almost all the other available auto majors in India, Bajaj Auto is also ready to roll out an updated range of its premium Pulsar motorcycles. The Approaching revived Pulsar range will include 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150, 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 and 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220 and will hit the dealerships by the end of this year.

As reported by Autocar India, Bajaj has also confirmed a low-slung and butch looking power cruiser with the 400cc displacement this November. The motorcycle will be launched under a new brand name and dubbed as VS400. With this new brand name-Umbrella, Bajaj is going to start a new segment which will compete with the Royal Enfield motorcycles.

In the released report, the Bajaj has actually mentioned the name of revived Pulsar models, but it did not shed light on the modifications that will be implied on these models. As expected, the powertrain could witness up gradation to make the single-cylinder DTS-i engine of these motorcycles, BS-IV norm compliant and to enhance mileage figures.

The braking system could get the aid of ABS and CBS (Combi Braking System) onto these models to secure the rider’s life.
