Mahindra & Mahindra with its Korean subsidiary SsangYong has added one more SUV in Rexton series. The new Rexton RX6 has made the entry in market to create the bridge between its two luxury SUVs RX5 and RX7. The new variant gets the interior design from RX7 and takes the powertrain from RX5. It is priced at Rs. 19.75 lakhs (Pune Ex-Showroom Price).
The new model has appeared with customer's need of luxury in mind. You can put the car in high end SUV segment because of its high end features. It takes the power from RX270 Xdi engine which has 5-cylinders to generate power, mated with five speed manual transmission. It makes maximum power of 164PS with peak torque value of 340Nm. RX6 is available in 4 color variants including Opulent Purple, Volcano Black, Moondust Silver and Satin White.
Going inside the car, it features very comfortable seats with leather garniture and comes with dual tone beige and black color themes. Driver's seat holds the electrically adjustable feature which has the ability to adjust the seat in 8 ways. On the other side, its power steering improves maneuverability.
On the safety front, RX6 is loaded with dual front and side airbags, Electronic Stability Program and hill descent control. It does not have so much cosmetic changes but gets some advanced features like automatic headlamps, three row air conditioning, electric sunroof and rain sensing wipers. All these features make the new SUV a perfect variant to drive with comfort and luxury. We are now just expecting that the Rexton RX6 may win the heart of Indian customers with its great appearance.
