The Czech Republic based car manufacturer Sokda has officially introduced its most awaited Fabia facelift a few days back, with the studio images. The company has disclosed that this upcoming hatchback will undergo in the production after this month at the main plant of Skoda in Mlada Boleslav. The motor will take its first appearance at the Paris Motor Show very soon in the month of October, 2014 and in the coming next year, the organization will start selling this product in Europe.
Mechanically, this forthcoming Skoda Fabia hatchback will come with the seven engine variants. The petrol version will include three and four cylinder layouts, while the diesel engine seems to hold a three cylinder layout. Both of the petrol variants are powered by 1.0 litre MPI and the most strongest variant gets a 1.2 litre TSI engine. The diesel model of Fabia is expected to have a 1.4 litre TDI engine. Skoda has also claimed that the fuel efficiency of this hatchback will be increased up to 17 percent compared to its existing model. There are rumors that the runabout will enter in the market with the incredible exterior and stupendous interior and it will comprise the highest level of security features for passenger alongside its driver.
However, Skoda pushes for marketing its Rapid, Octavia and Superb and the brand is not forming any plan to set up its upcoming hatchback in the Indian market. In future, Fabia will be the biggest opponent of VW Polo, Maruti Swift, Honda Jazz, Tata Bolt and Hyundai i20 and it is expected to have the approximate price of INR 8 Lakhs, if launched.
