Spied: Bentley Bentayga Diesel Variant Looks Ready to Hit the Ground

Undoubtedly, the British auto giant Bentley has a great story of building most powerful, luxurious cars incorporating dynamic technology under its fleet. It is obvious that the automaker’s thirst for becoming more popular has still not quenched. With the rapidly evolving technology and competition, all the carmakers are busy in updating their empty boxes. Just like all others, Bentley has also studied the market well and picked up its first SUV model ‘Bentayga’ in order to introduce it as the first ever diesel version. One of the diesel trims has also been captured on camera while moving around.

Bentley Bentayga is going to be launched with a diesel trim

Just one look at the picture and you will realize that it resembles to the run-of-the-unit Bentayga. However, some of the media sources have confirmed with the help of UK’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency that the vehicle has been powered by a diesel motor which has a 3956cc of displacement. It is the same turbo-diesel V8 engine, which is currently running under the hood of Audi SQ7, where it makes 435 PS of power and a massive 663 lb-ft/900 Nm of torque. Moreover, the engine can pull the car from 0-100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds.

Bentley Bentayga is coming with a diesel variant

On the aesthetic front, it might get some changes for exhaust design, while no further information is available yet. It is also unclear whether the company will debut the Bentayga diesel trim in the US, but perceiving the popularity of diesel cars in the market, we could think the luxury automaker might give it a shot. If the Carscoops’ reports turn out to be true, we can enjoy its presence at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
