Spotted: 2016 Ducati Scrambler 400 expected to debut at the 2015 EICMA

Ducati, an Italian venture known for manufacturing motorcycles is all set for a reveal of upcoming 2016 Ducati Scrambler 400 at the 2015 EICMA, coming ahead this month. The glimpses of the first spy shots of the brand new Ducati Scrambler 400, uncovers the new bike with all its glory plus the most affordable model to come from the manufacturer. Pretty impressive from its first images, the Scrambler 400 entices itself as the smaller displacement version of the Ducati's current entry-level offering and essentially targeting a younger, wider audience by tapping into the A2 license holders in Europe.

The small displacement 400 looks extremely identical to its sibling 2015 800cc predecessor with minimal differences. The Ducati Scrambler 400 is engineered by an all new 400cc, air-cooled L-twin Testastretta engine which propels out a power of 40-45 HP. The prototype will receive the conventional telescopic forks instead of the upside down unit for keeping low production costs. Though, the design is similar, yet the rear swing arm appears to be a bit thinner. On the other hand, Scrambler 400 includes round view mirrors, whereas the exhaust is the temporary one.

From the speculation, it is found that the Ducati Scrambler 400 is expected to share chassis and styling from its sister sibling 800cc version. Officially, not of the much details have been disclosed yet and only be available at the 2015 EICMA Motor Show. The pricing for the model is estimated to be around 6 lakhs.
