Toyota today launched its new Etios Cross which will line up to its Etios series and compete with the other SUV inspired Cross cars. Etios Cross prices will be announced till the end of April.
The new SUV measures 3,895mm in length, 1,735mm in width and 1,555mm in height having wheelbase of 2,460mm. There are 3 engine options available - 1.5 liter petrol producing power of 90bhp, 1.2 liter petrol producing power of 80BHP and 1.4 liter diesel producing power of 68BHP.
The leather wrapped steering of Etios Cross is knitted with controls of audio. The audio system is compatible with Bluetooth, USB, Aux-in, Digital clocks and CD player with remote control. It also has amazing new features like rear window defogger, tachometer, and speedometer with digital clock.
Talking about safety, the Etios Cross has ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) driver and front passenger airbags. The car has anti chip coating and anti corrosion steel sheet which prevents rusting.
On the other hand, Tata launched a new model NANO TWIST Active concept. This concept car will feature some new features like a new smiling grill and company logo nose, new bumpers, new lights, new steering wheel etc.
Tata has also launched Nano twist which will cost 2.36lakhs.The car's most updated feature is the power steering (Electric Power Assisted Steering or EPAS) which makes the car handier. The changes include updated engine, comfort features like standard music system with Bluetooth connectivity and the power window switches. This new model has a varying color range of interior. It retains the all-wheel drum brake setup and the four speed manual transmission.
The fuel efficiency of the car is 25.35kmpl having same 624cc, 2-cylinder petrol unit. The car will soon turn to be “Smart City Car”.
