2018 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is all geared to hit the Indian biking industry on coming July 19. The maxi-styled scooter is likely to get the price sticker tagged with INR 68,000 approximately that is highest asking price in scooter segment from the Japanese manufacturer. The scooter has been witnessed at several dealerships. Altogether, the company has started accepting bookings for the token amount of INR 5,000.

In terms of features, the bits which will make the audience turn their heads include a small visor, sharp apron shoulders, chunky handlebars, a large seat and fully digital instrument console. Other than this, the new Suzuki Burgman 125 will be fabricated with LED head and tail lamps, telescopic front forks, rear monoshock, front disc brakes, tubeless tyres and a 12V charging socket. The features like a combi brake system and a multi-function key are few other convenient features.

Check the below-attached video. The Burgman Street 125 runs on different sized wheels. It has 12-inch front placed alloy wheel along with 10-inches rear wheel. Settled at the seat height of 780mm, the scooter has a better ground clearance of 160mm. The scooter offers the fuel tank capacity of 5.6 litres and has a weight of 110kgs.

The new Burgman Street 125 that is packed with a 125cc, single cylinder engine uses the churned power of 8.5bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. All the power is sent to the rear wheel via a mated CVT transmission. As previewed in Dino’s video, the scooter is meant to perform hard in terms of speed, braking and stability. The noted high speed for the scooter was 100kmph. While the braking is superb with stopping time of just 2 seconds from 60-0 kmph.

As the new Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is going to start an all-new, maxi-styled category in the Indian biking industry. Though, there would not be a direct competitor for the upcoming. Well, it will lock the horns with the opponents such as the Honda Activa, Honda Grazia 125 and the Aprilia SR 125 in the 125cc scooter segment.
