Suzuki S-Cross Facelift to Debut at Geneva with 1.4 Litre Engine

As per the market reports, Suzuki is planning to introduce S-Cross facelift with a new 1.4-litre engine at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. This motor was first seen in brand's another SUV model Vitara S, which is currently available in the global market. After making debut at Geneva, the vehicle will be made available for sale in the European markets by the end of this year.

Suzuki has not shared the powertrain specifications officially, but it is anticipated to be similar to the power output of Vitara S. The details include a 1.4-litre, direct injection, turbocharged BoosterJet petrol engine that churns out 140 Bhp of power and 220 Nm of torque. The motor could also be engaged with a six-speed manual gearbox to transmit the power to the wheel axles via Suzuki's AllGrip AWD system as an optional arrangement.

As like all other facelift models, it will also feature some fresh attachments. In terms of exteriors, this S-Cross gets new projector headlamps, new upright grille with vertical slats and a redesigned bumper. To protect radiator and engine, a larger grille fixed on the bumper. Some other changes like  instrument cluster along with new MID (Multi-information Display), upholstery, restyled dashboard and color combination has also been made to the interior. All the other details such as price, launch date, etc, would be revealed at the Geneva Motor show, which will be held from next week.
