Tata Hexa Launch to be Held in India by June 2016

Rumours about the Hexa Crossover have come to an end after Tata Motors' promise to deliver this car into market in June this year. It was first celebrated at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and followed by the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. This new upcoming version is basically designed to replace company's other utility vehicle Aria, or we can say it is the next generation model of Aria. With new bold looks and styling, it is expected to be sold at the starting price of INR 13 Lakhs and the top end variants can be tagged at INR 18 Lakhs.

As we updated earlier, the Hexa has been built with an effort of company's three design houses located in Pune, Italy and UK with design cues from Land Rover. The front fascia gets a large chrome grille badged with brand logo in the centre, sweptback headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, turn indicators on wing mirrors and large bumper as well as the rear comes with LED tail lamps.

Mechanically, it will be available with a 2.2-litre four cylinder VARICOR diesel engine, delivering  154 Bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque. It is going to available in both rear and all-wheel drive option, where the former is standard and the latter will be offered as an option.
