Tata Aria was launched few years back in the form of a brilliantly engineered crossover. The SUV cum MUV had a powerful DiCOR engine borrowed from the sturdy Safari. For some reasons, the vehicle didn't dig out a place for itself but enthusiasts loved it and its performance. While people were busy watching the awaited Tata Zest and Tata Bolt, the company launched its updated Aria with many visible and mechanical changes. The changes have placed this car one step above the current model.

The all new 2014 Tata Aria has got a new head light cluster which is equipped with double barrel design embossed with projector lamps and black bezel.  Side body is garnished with safety and show raising molding.  Rear has got a clear lens outfit over the tail lights. The mechanicals have seen massive changes. Tata has made its new beast even wilder by introducing VariCOR technology to its 2.2 litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine with a raise in power by massive 10 PS. This has made this vehicle churn out 150PS of power at 4000 RPM. Torque has procured better strength with 320Nm rotating at 1,500 RPM to 3,000 RPM.

Despite of being so powerful on paper, ARAI claimed this vehicle to be returning a mileage of 15.05 KMPL on standard conditions which is more by 1.35 KMPL. Safety also has made its way to the all new Aria by introducing itself in the form of front, side and curtain airbags along with ABS, EBD, ESP and TCS. These features will be shining under the 4x4 version of the vehicle along with many other classy features including 360 watt JBL Harman music player and sound system with 10 speakers, dual tone interiors with black and plum shade, automatic wipers and headlights, navigation system, cruise control and 17 inch alloy wheels.
