Tesla Model X Gets Upgraded With 75D Battery Pack

The US-based EV maker, Tesla Motors had recently unveiled the much anticipated Model 3, which went viral and received more than 2 Lakh booking in just 24 hours of launch. The company has also come up with the facelift version of the Model S. As of now, in order to maintain more power, the automaker has replaced the 70D battery of Tesla Model X with the 75D. This also means that the battery size has been considerably increased to 75 kwh.

With this upgradation, the Model X is supposed to travel a extended distance from 220 miles to 237 miles. Mechanically, the Model X offers a dual-motor that underpins an all wheel drive setup that is also capable to sprint from 0 – 60 mph in just 6 seconds. It comes with a top speed of 130 mph. Now, the new updated Model X with P90D will allow it to go 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.

It has been noticed that the automaker has slowly started making some significant changes into the lineup as it had to recall around 2700 E-SUVs due to faulty third-row seat. It came into light that the vehicles that were manufactured before March 26 showed up with this fault. As the Model 3 undergoes production, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed its India debut by 2017.
