The Motorcycling over the cruise or cruising over the motorcycle, the current trend has so much to say about the peace of rejoice while letting someone smoke a bit for you, I mean your bike. The cruising stars have got their perfect shot over the needs of the people walking around with a dream of having their own cruiser on the silly but manageable roads of the diversified world. Yet, there are many more to come with the zeal of yielding more passion, perfection and humor of clambake with a little sort of bated breath. The Arch Motorcycles is a new comer to the field that is owned by Hollywood actor and director Keanu Reeves.
The Arch KRGT-1 is the recent harvest from the company’s deed. This bike has been crafted with utmost perfection, which can be seen around the bits of the vehicle. The engine is the twin cam 2,032cc unit that is Arch Proprietary S&S Cycle T124 arranged in V-twin 45 degree platform with fuel injection. The maximum power generation from this engine is 121.53HP while the torque development reaches to 121.77Nm. The gear box is a container of 6 speed manual transmissions. The complete body work has used enormous chrome inserts, which can be easily followed with the fuel cells, headlight mounts and around engine parts.
The aerodynamic design chases some flaws, which are not acceptable with a robust cruiser like the KRGT-1. The air intake units mounted over the either sides of the bike disturbs the rider’s leg position. The nicely crafted seat has a bulky rear support, which is a good thing. The bike is puffed nicely, still it feels a bit being shallow over the styling stance. The headlight has a good design with proper spacing for Projector lens and pilot lamps. The bike could do good things, and it is priced around $12,000. With this price, one can go for some well established Triumph Motorbike or Harley Davidson, but having a different would be enthusiast’s choice.
