As it has already been confirmed that Toyota is currently busy to give new and updated features for its existing Fortuner SUV. Now, the manufacturer is in the last lifecycle to improve this model and is all set to put forward two latest variants of Fortuner next year in India. Its next generation model is also under construction and will be rendered in the country in early 2016 with completely new components. Coming to the facelift version, this modified SUV is about to get a more charming look as well as impassioned mechanical terms with regard to the current one.
There will be one base variant, which is likely to receive its powertrain from Innova and would be powered by a 2.5 litre D4-D diesel engine producing an appreciable power of 142 bhp. This new mill will have two transmission options for manual and automatic including two wheel drive layout. The second one is top end trim that will be powered by the same 3.0 litre D4-D diesel engine comprising 5-speed automatic and a transcendent all wheel drive configuration. It will render a tremendous performance alongside stunning speed as well as superb fuel efficiency to enhance fervor for the car’s enthusiastic.
Moreover, Toyota is also concentrating to bring out some noteworthy safety features for this upcoming updated Fortuner SUV to give a big challenge for other vehicles coming in 2015 at a competitive price range, such as Mahindra XUV 500 and Chevrolet Captiva.
