Toyota Innova Crysta Showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2016

Japanese automaker Toyota has always been known for manufacturing over the top products and its Toyota Innova still is considered as one of the most strongest designs. Now, with the ongoing Auto Expo 2016, Toyota has again launched a brand new nect-gen Innova dubbed as Innova Crysta. It is designed on the all-new platform called the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA), which is lighter than the outgoing model’s platform.

On the design front, it features a massive hexagonal front grille with two slats in chrome, projector head-lights with LED daytime running lamps, new fog lamps and new bumpers and is spacious enough to accomodate a fair number of passengers along with the driver. In the interiors the dashboard has been equipped with a modern instrument cluster and an advanced eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system which further comprises of DLNA, web browser, smartphone, Air gesture and Miracast.

It will feature a 2.4 litre diesel engine that produces 147bhp of power along with 360Nm of torque. Additionally, the engine would be coupled with a five-speed or six-speed auto gearbox and keeping safety in mind, the new product would come equipped with 7 airbags (out of which three would be made standard across all variants), ABS and EBD.
