Trial: TVS Apache RTR Equipped with ABS in US

Either it will be a scooter segment or motorcycle segment, TVS has its name all around the Indian market in the two-wheeler section. The company recently came up on the third position by leaving Bajaj Motorcycles behind. After making history in the Indian market, now the company is planning to spread their wings in the global market as well.

The recent example for this is, the most liked and favored motorcycle from the company, i.e. Apache RTR has been caught testing in the United States. At the time of testing, the images revealed the complete story of the motorcycle. The riders mentioned that the motorcycle is equipped with ABS and it was being tested over the roads in the United States. Apart from that, the manufacturer is also planning to launch a new version of Apache in India pretty soon, which is already showcased in Indonesia.

Looking forward to this step of the company, it is expected that the TVS might be planning to showcase and sell the 180cc motorcycle in the most developed country. Although, the manufacturer is already exporting some specific models of motorcycles and scooters in the global market, including Latin America. Talking about the technical features of the motorcycle, it is powered by a single-cylinder engine, which gives an engine displacement of 177.4cc. The engine is coupled with 5-speed gearbox giving out a total power of 17.3BHP and a maximum torque of 15.5Nm. The top speed achieved by the motorcycle is 121 KMPH.

The TVS Apache RTR 180 could be an entry-level motorcycle for the US people. However, many other manufacturers are selling more than one-cylinder motorcycle in the global countries, but the market for single-cylinder hasn't touched the feet yet. Hence, this could be the most-affordable motorcycle in the 180cc segment along with ABS equipped in the United States. And, as we all know that TVS has partnered with the international brand BMW and pretty soon will be launching a motorbike on the Indian roads. So, it is highly expected that the company will make its entry through the BMW dealerships.
