The recall is issued as a “preventive part replacement” program under which the Triumph dealers and the authorized service centres are contacting to the owners of affected bikes, for free of cost faulty part replacement. Other than this, the potential customers are also being suggested not to ride the bikes until replacement of faulty part to avoid any sorts of mishappenings.
Well, as identified, only a limited count of bikes stamped with particular chassis number series, are being called to fix the faulty issue of fuel pump sub harness. In this pre-emptive recall, an email via Triumph dealer to an affected bike owner says this is a part of,”a global exercise by the company to ensure stringent quality standards and customer safety.” So, if you are Bonneville bike owners and having your names in affected motorcycles lists, stay in touch with your nearest Triumph dealership.
Last year, Triumph Motorcycles has updated its Bonneville range of motorcycles which comprises Bonneville Street Twin, Bonneville T120, Thruxton R and the Bonneville T100 models. The mentioned Bonneville range plays a vital role in terms of earning great sales numbers.
