TVS Motor Introduces Matte Blue Edition For Apache Series

To keep making its proposition in the two-wheeler market, TVS Motor Company has introduced a Matte Blue Edition of Apache 160 and 180 for the domestic market. In the Matte Blue shade, the motorcycle has recently been spotted at the dealership which would be commenced for sale soon. The price of the new edition would be similar or little bit higher to the current Apache as the TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS is being sold in the country at Rs. 87,282/- (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

Furthermore, in addition to the new paint scheme, the company has introduced Dual Channel ABS, that will now allow its customers to take an advantage of the new feature, however, the Dual Channel ABS is an option for the new Apache. The manufacturer has blessed it with a racing chassis.

Apart from the new paint scheme, the company has not made any changes in its powertrain as the Apache Matte Blue Edition continues to be powered by the 177.4cc, air-cooled and single cylinder engine displacement that returns 17.03 BHP of power at 8500 RPM and 15.5 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM. The engine is paired with the five-speed transmission that will help to touch 0-60 KMPH mark in just 4.5 seconds. The stopping power comes from with the same front 270mm petal disc brakes and 200mm petal disc brakes at the rear.

The TVS Motor is also working on the new 200cc Apache that is based on the TVS Draken X21 concept that was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. The new 200cc Apache is expected to be launched by the end of the current year.
