TVS Radeon Garners 1 Lakh Sales Milestone within Seven Months Since Launch

TVS Radeon, an all-new commuter motorcycle from Chennai based bikemaker, has easily managed to attain the milestone of one lakh unit sales in just seven months since its launch in August 2018. TVS spawn out the Radeon to pose competition against India’s leader in the segment, the Hero Splendor. The TVS Radeon bike gets power from a 109.7cc Dura-Life motor which is capable of generating the peak power of 8.2bhp and delivering 8.7Nm of apex torque to the rear wheel via a mated four-speed gearbox. As the company claims, the powertrain is tuned to supply optimum power along with better fuel economy. Packed with a 10-litre fuel tank, the Radeon is rated to return the fuel efficiency of 69.3kmpl.

Built on a steel tubular frame, the Radeon features conventional body theme though with dollops of chrome. Apart from this, there is a twin pod instrument console with a chrome bezel, ribbed thigh pads, chrome engine guard and a large comfortable seat. Among other features, the bike gets a chrome bezel for the headlamp with LED DRLs, large 18-inch wheels and USB charging. The TVS bike has improved braking performance on the Radeon with the introduction of Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT). the technology implies front brake with the application of the rear brake which not only improves braking performance but also reduces stopping distance.

The TVS Radeon is being offered with a five-year warranty plan along with colour choices like white, beige, purple and black.
