TVS Could Bring Zeppelin and Creon Flagships this Year

TVS Motor company is looking forward to expanding its existing lineup with the introduction of a host of new and advanced products. In this view, the company has lined up modern-day offerings like the Creon that is a new performance-oriented electric scooter and the Zeppelin, a futuristic cruiser. Here in India, these products could hit the dealerships this year end or early 2020.

In terms of body language both the Creon and the Zeppelin looks promising to combat hard and earn considerable volume in their segments. As like other products in the existing lineup the Apache RTR 200 4V and the Apache RR 310 which did not take much time to transform into market-ready guise from concepts- the Draken and the Akula. Showcased respectively at the Auto Expo 2016 and further, the models marked their presence in the market as soon as possible. Similar is being considered with the Creon and the Zeppelin.

The TVS Creon that is an electric scooter will be packed with a powerful motor electric motor with the capability of completing 0-80 kmph sprint in just 5.1 seconds. While the supplied travel range from the equipment will be around 80 km in a single charge. As claimed the battery takes an hour to charge up to 80 per cent.

Among onboard features, the scooter will get Smart connected technologies in association with Intel. In addition to this, an advanced instrument cluster will contain a TFT display to showcase information like speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, battery charge and health status. Besides, the Creon will be featured with electronic bits such as anti-theft GPS navigation, park assist, regenerative braking and three riding modes.

The TVS Zeppelin cruiser concept, on the other hand, will be loaded with a 220cc engine. Also, the brand’s patented Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) will help the engine to start quickly with an augmented boost.

The churned power figures from the mill in question are around 20 BHP and 18.5 Nm. while the provided features in the production-ready model of the Zeppelin concept would include next-generation attributes- an all LED headlamp, dual channel ABS system, a TFT instrument cluster etc.

As of now, no test mule of any of the product is spotted performing test rounds in the country. Albeit, we are expecting such events anytime soon owing to surfaced launch rumours by this year-end or early 2020. If the pricing is considered, the upcoming TVS cruiser, Zeppelin would be tagged with the price sticker around INR 1.30 lakhs while the Creon electric scooter can be put on sale at pricing under INR 1 lakh when hit the country.
