Upcoming BMW's New Bagger Product K1600 Unveiled

Some images of a new product of the German automobile maker, BMW Motorrad has been surfaced out on the internet by a motoring website MCN, prior of its official unveiling.The bagger style BMW K1600 seems highly influenced from the Euro styled K1600GT and GTL bikes in the leaked images, but wearing a fairing unlike prior mentioned bikes to give it an American touch.

Not once, when bike images came out on the motoring environment. However, several times, it has been presented by many spy photographers via a leak. But the automaker neither say any word about the BMW K1600 nor it reveal any image, officially.Meanwhile, BMW showcased a concept model alongside the Concept 101 in the same month of last year. The premiered concept was sharing the same drooping hard panniers and the cut down windscreen of the BMW K1600.

Apparently, the bagger has a low height in measure at the rear end and where it keeping a low pillion, drooping panniers and a long horizontal exhaust unit.Moreover, it get a redesigned fuel tank, a transform nose shaped headlight assembly with fairing extension to reflect the air, an electronically adjustable windscreen, new aerodynamic mirrors and side panels.

Mechanically, the BMW K1600 shares everything from the K1600GT and GTL as the transversely mounted inline six-cylinder, 24 valve engine with the displacement of 1649 cc, which produces the paramount power of 158 bhp and peak torque of 175 Nm. The aluminium skeleton with the supportive suspension setup of Duolever at the front and the Paralever at rear, is unchanged. Electronic components including dashboard instruments, until used wheels and brakes are unaltered and giving the same flavour of the existing bike technology.

The speculations are, it may officially made it appearance this year and go on sale in the early months of 2017.
