Vespa to Launch 946 Emporio Armani on October 25

Italian two-wheeler maker Piaggio Vespa is gearing up for the launch of the 946 Emporio Armani Edition in India on the coming 25th. Furthermore, a special 70th Anniversary Edition Scooter will be introduced as well to complete the package this festive season.

Considered to be the most expensive scooter of the country till date, the Vespa 946 will be landed as Completely Built Unit (CBU) carrying a price tag of around INR 8 to 9 lakh. Back in 2013, the Italian firm has launched this iconic machine, which became the style statement since then. With this customized model of the already swanky standard 946, it makes no sense to debate for its uber rich price tag.

Powered by a 125cc fuel-injected, single-cylinder motor, the engine incorporated into the machine churns out 12BHP at 8250RPM and 10NM of torque at 7000RPM. LED headlamps, tail lamps with LCD instrument console, ABS, traction control system, Anti Slip Regulator and disc brakes at both front and rear constitute its prominent features.

Let’s not forget the second scooter, which is going to be introduced in parallel with the Emporio 946- the 70th Anniversary Special Edition. It features special edition badges and a fascinating paint scheme. The company will produce these scooters in few numbers only and it is expected to get a relatively less price tag between INR 80,000 and INR 90,000.
