It has been developed on the basis of the Volvo's new Scalable Product Architecture which has allowed it to me lighter, stronger and safer.

Under the bonnet, it is available in both petrol and diesel engines of 2.0 Litre 4-Cylinder ranges and these new more efficient power options fall under the Drive-E family. The new T6 Petrol engine have options of turbo and super-charged mills producing 316 bhp power and the D5 twin-turbocharged diesel motors can produce 222 bhp power. All these engines have been mated to 8-speed automatic gearbox transmission system to transfer the power.

There also are some changes in the car inside, like new central touchscreen and media, new cloud-based navigation system, wood and leather trims with hand molded lights and much more. The price and exact launch date of the car hasn't been announced yet and we'll tell you as soon as we get them.
