Yamaha Motor has recently showcased an ultimate product, Yamaha 04GEN concept at the on going 2016 Vietnam Motorcycle Show. The Vietnam Motorcycle Show is in its first edition and scheduled from and is scheduled from April 7, 2016 to April 11, 2016 at Ho Chi Minh. Based on the RUNWAY concept, Yamaha 04GEN has been sculpted to ‘evoke the image of a woman with an air of dignified elegance and grace in mind and body’.

The 04GEN concept model follows the same “Refined Dynamism” design philosophy which was established by the Yamaha Motor in the year 2013. The automaker has announced to bring three design concepts on this design philosophy. The 01GEN concept which is a crossover motorcycle with two wheels at the front end introduces in 2014 while The 02 GEN concept which also put front for the audience in 2014 was an electrically power-assisted wheelchair was also brought in 2014.The last in the list was the 03GEN, a three wheel prototype and this the latest one seems like inspired from a dragon fly.
The highlight of the 04GEN is a semi-transparent body panels at the rear end which resembles as the wings of the dragonfly. These semi transparent body panels get folded and open and also covered the frame of the scooter. This engineered interior structure showcasing which allows to flow of air onto that curvy body.
If 04GEN makes it market debut it will compete against the already available Vespa 946 in the premium scooter segment and will definately gave a hard competition to the Vespa 946, due to its unique and runaway design and unconvention presence of dragonfly wings like side body panels.
