Yamaha launches 2019 MotoGP Edition of R15 V3; FZ25 And Ray ZR

Yamaha India has introduced the MotoGP-inspired edition of the YZF-R15 Version 3.0, FZ25 and the Cygnus Ray ZR in its existing product lineup. The company has priced the limited edition of R15 V3 at INR 1,42,780, the FZ25 at I1,36,680. In terms of pricing, both models get costlier by INR 2,500 over their standard colour variants.

Furthermore, the MotoGP edition of the scooter Cygnus Yamaha Ray ZR will cost you around INR 59,028, with the addition of premium INR 1,500 over the standard disc brake-equipped version. While the drum brake variant of the same would not be provided with the same graphic treatment.

Yamaha R15 Version 3 that is the entry-level sports tourer from Japanese bike maker in the country has been received the MotoGP inspired colour scheme for the second time. First in August 2018, when the Movistar was official sponsor, the motorcycle gets the blue livery with Movistar stickers. Now it is being offered with a dark Balck theme with blue highlights when the official sponsor is Monster E

This is the second time that the Yamaha YZF-R15 Version 3.0 has received a MotoGP-inspired variant. The faired bike received the first MotoGP-inspired paint job back in August 2018. While the older model received Movistar stickers with blue livery, the 2019 iteration comes with a darker black theme with blue highlights on the bodywork with Monster Energy stickers. That’s because in 2018, the official sponsor was Movistar whereas now it’s Monster Energy.

The FZ25 and Ray ZR are blessed for the first time with special sportier graphics job in the Indian lineup. In this livery, the Yamaha Ray ZR reminds of the pit bikes used by the company for MotoGP races.

Other than the graphics job, the models are continued to be offered with similar mechanicals and underpinnings. Also, the company is offering a “Racing branded” Tee with the MotoGP edition of the models.
