The scope of wide angle lenses is increasing as the new cameras are getting incarnated every now and then. The SLR magic has produced new lens equipment for the video shooters to enhance the creativity with T2.1 aperture. This will make things favorable in low light scenario and darkens the image for better wide angle capability. The brand is going to add this product in the Micro Four Thirds cameras. The earlier series in the SLR Magic’s squad features HyperPrime the 35mm T1.4, the 25mm T0.95 and 12mm T1.6. The new entry to this i.e. the 10mm T2.1 lens is crafted with 77 ND 0.4-1.8 ND filter. The density provide by this filter remains in the range of 0.4 to 1.8, which is a prime choice for wide angle application as it darkens the whole image for better imaging. The front dial or wheel over the lens performs this job manually. The lowering of shutter speed creates depth in the effect and maintaining the exposure life will reveal some actions. The front wheel is sized with an 86 mm diameter.
As per sources, this lens unit will demand around $700 to $800. The upcoming event for the photography i.e. Photokina, 2014 will be reveling many facts behind this series along some other great products. The event is scheduled for October 2014.
