The action cam inspired Ricoh Theta m15 has been updated for better video shooting and still snapping. The camera looks like a tough rival to the HTC RE action camera which was loaded in the real world few weeks back for the superb built and extravaganza photography fun.
Though, the m15 is the updated version of the last generation Theta with added feature of recording 360 degree panoramic images. The lens unit can be seen on either side of the snapper, which can handle the imaging at a good quality rate. Single click of the same can record detailed 360 degree images.
The recording capacity of the Theta m15 is upto 3 minutes per movie. The connectivity can be established with WIFI connectivity and a dedicated app from the company’s store must be downloaded to see what your snapper is doing around the locations. The ability of fetching out spherical photography is applicable for video and still imaging, which is a good context for sharing desires.
The color options available for the same include Pink, yellow, blue and white. The spherical recording is possible due to the fish eye lens on both the sides of the main unit. The upper body composition includes buttons which are functional for shutter release, WIFI and power on off. The bottom houses a tripod jack and USB point for charging and syncing purpose. The internal space for the picture storing purpose is 4GB.
The Theta m15 works with android and iOS apps from where the commanding signals can also be executed. The price is the something which requires a revision. At £329.99 of price, it would be hard to purchase a camera meant for a dedicated purpose and one can have a superb alternate for other luxurious photography purpose. But the quality of pictures after getting fastened doesn’t feel after composed at all and justifies the expensiveness.
