Acer Chromebase AIO PC with Touch Display, Tegra K1 Chip

The Taiwanese tech giant Acer has kicked off the first Chrome OS based PC which is not an ordinary desktop, but an All-in-One device with touchscreen. The Chromebase AIO PC can be counted in top-alluring devices by the manufacturer with its impressive built and features.

It is expected that the Acer Chromebase PC will reach in stores to captivate customers with its competency in second quarter of this year. This device has been unveiled along with a slew of Chrome OS based devices. However, very few specifications of this PC is available to articulate here.

As per the available information, the Acer Chromebase gets a 21.5-inch IPS display which is touch sensitive and offers full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution. Thanks to Nvidia Tegra K1 processor which has boosting capability to make this device a speedy performer. Being complimented with 4GB RAM, this AIO PC has compelling power to offer seamless experience.

No other details of this system are known yet. Acer has claimed that it will be offering Google Drive cloud storage of 100GB for two years. To meet with the connectivity purpose, Acer Chromebase comes loaded with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. HD webcam is also crafted with 3W stereo speakers.

Acer said, "Chromebase has multiple layers of security built-in with automatic system updates." Back in March, the PC maker had brought the upgraded Chromebook C910 at $499.99 which has Intel Core i5-5200U processor and many other advanced features than its earlier version launched back in January with price tag of $279.

A day earlier, a slew of Chrome based devices took birth for tech-o-holics. Asus Chromebit was the one among them which is an HDMI dongle to turn TV into a PC.
