Asus Launched Vivobook S Laptop With Windows 10 OS, 15.6-Inch NanoEdge Display

Asus, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturing and developing firm has launched its brand new Vivobook S laptop in several variants coupled with up to seventh-generation Intel Core processor with a price tag starting from USD 699. Highlighting feature of the revamped version of company’s previously launched Vivobook laptop is its all new display with thin bezels, which is also defined as NanoEdge by the company.

The new NanoEdge technology of the laptop delivers it an amazing 80-percent screen-to-body ratio. According to the company, the Asus Vivobook S has been capable of fitting a full-size 15.6-inch display into a 14-inch laptop frame, by using this technology.

In term of specifications, the new Asus Vivobook S laptop is blessed with a 15.6-inch Wideview colour rich display along with full-HD resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and viewing angle of up to 178-degrees. The laptop will be available with up to Intel Core i7-7500U processors coupled with 8GB of DDR4 RAM. It runs on the latest Windows 10 OS and packs 1TB of HDD storage along with a combo option of 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD as well.

The laptop is backed up by a 42WHrs rated 3S1P, 3-cell Li-ion battery and is capable of charging up to 60 percent of its capacity in just 49 minutes. Connectivity options on the board include a fingerprint sensor, USB 3.1 Type-C (Gen 1), USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and HDMI. It is just 0.7-inch thick and weighs around 1.6kg.
