Asus Publicized its Voice-calling Tablet: Fonepad 7 (FE171CG)

The Taiwan Electronics Company: Asus brought a revamped version of previously-launched Fonepad 7 (FE170CG), called Fonepad 7 (FE171CG). After mesmerizing annual Consumer Electronics Show by Zenfone 2, Zenfone Zoom and Transformer-branded tablets, tech giant has rolled up its sleeves to refresh other series of smart devices.

This voice-calling tab: Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) features a 7-inch WSVGA IPS display with anti-fingerprint coating and Multi-touch support, which confers a pixel resolution of 1024x600p. Paired with dual-SIM card slots, device is powered packed with Intel Atom 1.2 GHz Multi-Core Z2520 Processor alongside Hyper-Threading Technology.

On memory front, gadget will come with 1GB and 2GB RAM options depending on region as well as consumers can choose between 8GB and 16GB inbuilt storage models. As per corporation, handheld is decked with 5GB of Lifetime Asus Webstorage Space.

Talking about imaging, then company has designed FE171CG in two editions: 8-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear camera. And,  front panel of handheld is clubbed with 2-megapixel shooter. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, device is loaded with enhanced ASUS ZenUI to render a pleasant user interface.

It assimilates 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/ A-GPS connectivity options and fueled by a 15 Wh Li-polymer Battery. Here, tablet's battery has been claimed to deliver 34 hours of talk time on 3G networks. Moreover, Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) measures 110.6 x 196 x 7.9 mm dimension and 280 grams of weight.
