Dell Venue 10 7000: Stalwart and Hulk Yet Benign to Operate

Dell has become one of the top companies in tablet manufacturing where Apple and Samsung upped in the ante. After winning the Best of CES award for its Venue 8 tablet, the company has brought a big version of the same, named Dell Venue 10 7000 with improved entrails and design tweaks.

As its name suggests, it flaunts 10.5-inch OLED display which offers the same 2,560 x 1,600 pixels screen resolution which we have seen on Venue 8. The brushed aluminum body looks stunning, but a cylinder on one side gives this slate a different appeal. It carries the battery and helps in connecting the backlit keyboard to the device. It also gives you a better grip while holding the tablet vertically in a hand.

The device is easy to hold in one hand despite its 10.5-inch big size. It is powered by the same Intel’s quad-core Atom processor which powers the Dell Venue 8. With 6.2mm thin profile, this sleek tablet weighs double than the 8-inch device with 598 grams. Intel’s RealSense camera is also there which is complimented with 8-megapixel rear snapper which seems not appealing because of Dell’s slothful camera and gallery software. However, it gives benign and premium feel with Android Lollipop support.

The Dell Venue 10 is also good for enterprise and business use as it comes with Android for Work. This will give you the enterprise-level security along with the capability of keeping office and personal data separate. 16GB and 32GB built-in storage options will be available with this device. However, the former will be selling in select markets. A microSD card slot with 512GB storage capability is also commendable enough. This Android tablet will grab $499 for 32GB tablet only, and $629 for the same with keyboard. A massive 7,000mAh battery is packed which is claimed to offer 7 hours of life.

When talks are moving to the keyboard, then it’s responsive enough with back-lighting, and can tilt upto 180 degree. When it attaches to the slate, it gives a feel of 2-in-1 laptop device. However, this Bluetooth keyboard is only fitted with the Venue 10, because it is designed to fit in the cylindrical shaped slot. Well, wait to reach this tablet in market, as some of its features are still unknown which will be reached in our understanding when it hits the market.
