This tablet is priced at Rs. 9,999 only and is available exclusively on Amazon India to buy for a month, later it will be reached in the electronic stores and toy stores to sale. The Eddy Tablet takes the power from Intel Atom Z2520 SoC, clocked at 1.2GHz and operates on Android 4.2.2 operating system. The Android platform gives the children a real experience of using a gadget like their parents have. It uses Athena OS skin to keep the children’s education in mind. It also comes equipped with parental control also that enable parents to control the content and time for children to access the tablet.
The tab also has a screen which can protect kids’ eyes from UV rays and lower eyestrain. Its scratch-proof and impact resistant 7-inch IPS display can survive even after the fall and drop, thanks to drop-safe bumper. The Eddy tablet comes equipped with 16GB inbuilt storage and which can further be expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. 1GB RAM gives smoothness when multiple tasks are executing simultaneously. There is also a 2MP rear camera and front-facing camera that can give kids an option of clicking images.
Its 2,800mAh battery can go for long hours and it comes with 3G connectivity which can work while a dongle is connected. The tablet is loaded with 160 learning apps.
