The South Korean tech juggernaut Samsung has pulled off the wrap from its new slate and named it Galaxy Tab S2. This new tablet has been announced by the mobile maker in two variants that will hit the global market in August. Company has tried to bring sleekness in its new tablet and here it is with a 5.6mm slim profile. As we told you, it will come in two variants - one with 9.7-inch screen and another with 8.0-inch. Well, not only, the thickness, weight of the device also here to mesmerize. It is light-weighed with 389 grams for 9.7-inch model and 265 grams for 8.0-inch model.
Now, move towards the specifics of this Samsung gadget. Super AMOLED screen is there to bless both variants with vibrant displays. With 2048x1536 pixels resolution, the 8.0-inch model offers pixel density of 320ppi while 264ppi calculates for the bigger 9.7-inch model. Hence, the same resolution offers varied result on both variants. Both models are quite powerful while perform as it has 1.9GHz quad-core plus 1.3GHz quad-core processor to lit the display and power the entrails. A 3GB RAM compliments the processor to compel users with its smooth multitasking capability.
Metal framing makes this device a top-alluring gadget. And, a built-in room to store 32GB or 64GB data is also there in both models which also has a slot for microSD card to store upto 128GB. This slate also brings Microsoft Office Solutions with up to 100GB free cloud storage on OneDrive. Galaxy Tab S2 also has fingerprint sensor for security reasons. Two connectivity variants are also there, one with Wi-Fi only and another with Wi-Fi and LTE. As it’s a tablet of this new era, then you will experience a lot more with Android Lollipop OS support.
On imaging front, its 8MP rear shooter has autofocus feature and a 2.1MP front snapper also. To work all such entrails efficiently and flawlessly, a battery of 5,870mAh capacity for 9.7-inch variant and 4,000mAh battery for 8.0-inch variant is there which doesn’t let the battery to go down easily.
