HP Released its Envy x2 Laptop with a Fresh Design

HP has announced a revamped version of its Envy x2 Laptop, which is ultra portable and relatively slick. Though, newly launched device has been baptized with a same as its prototype model, but is an advanced and renovated variant along with multi-angle kickstand, fabric keyboard cover. In terms of designing and exterior, this new successor of the company has been said as a replica of heavily marketed Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Taking about the device that has been commenced in two different screen sizes: 13-inch and 15.6-inch, which deliver pixel resolutions of 1366 x 768p and 1920 x 1080p respectively. However, it has been compared with top-end Surface Pro 3 (9.1mm), but its 13-inch model is thicker and heavier with 13.7mm thickness and a weighing of 2.81 pounds without keyboard.

To capture the burgeoning marketplace of hybrid devices, the Windows 8.1-based machines have been paired with a Bluetooth-powered detachable keyboard, whereby the consumers can use them as a tablet or laptop. Interestingly, gadgets have fanless architecture and they are integrated with Intel Core M-5Y10 or 5Y70 processors along with Intel HD graphics.

Prospective buyers can also choose between 4 GB and 8 GB RAM options. The inclusion of Beats stereo speakers alongside SD card slot also makes the device quite engrossing. Apart from screen size, both models are arrayed with similar specs, but larger model is packed with traditional 500GB HDD storage and its sibling confers SSD storage up to 512GB.

Moreover, the bigger 15.6-inch HP Envy x2 has been priced at $749.99, while its companion has been labeled with a price tag of $799.99.
