Micromax Alpha LI35I With 15.6 Display Launched For INR 26,990

Micromax the home based company is known not only for its smartphones but also for its laptops. The company just last month announced its Alpha and Ignite series of laptops in the country and now the company has again officially launched its first ever laptop in the Alpha series.

The new laptop dubbed under the moniker Micromax Alpha LI351 (also referred as Alpha LI351568W) is a 15.6-inch laptop that gives an astounding display of 1366x768 display and it has been priced quite nominally at INR 26,990. For now, the new Alpha LI35I is available only in Gray color variant and is being sold exclusively through e-commerce website Flipkart.

Lat month on the eve of launch, Micromax stated that it has designed Alpha series taking into consideration the basic needs of first-time users while its Ignite series is aimed for users who are well aware of how to use a laptop and its additional features. Regarding the launch, the company said in an emailed statement that the launch followed an "overwhelming response" for its entry-level Lapbook laptops and Laptab 2-in-1s.

Under the hood, the Micromax laptop bears a fifth-generation Intel Core i3-5005U processor having a clock speed of 1.6GHz and supporting 3MB Cache coupled with 6GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It also offers 500GB of HDD storage capacity that can be expanded up to 1TB. The laptop also comes equipped with an Intel HD Graphics 5500 integrated graphics card.

The laptop is found to operate on Microsoft latest operating system i.e, Windows 10 that is making its way into almost all devices these days. It also sports a 4-cell battery that can last up to 4.7 hours and also comes with a microphone Jack, a separate headphones jack. dual speakers and carries a weight of 2.1Kg. Talking about connectivity, the laptop offers WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, an HDMI Port, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and an RJ45 Ethernet port.

One must note that Micromax also unveiled its 14-inch Ignite LPQ61 laptop last month. The laptop had been priced at Rs 18,990 and came featured with Windows 10 OS alongside the 14-inch display with backlit support. It also offered 1TB HDD space combined with Intel HD Graphics and 4GB of DDR3 RAM.
