Microsoft is Introducing its first ever Laptop Surface Book

Microsoft, the techno giant, under the leadership of Chief Executive Satya Nadella, has unveiled its first ever laptop, Windows 10 device dubbed as Surface Book.

Microsoft's head of devices, Panos Panay, announced the device in the event and said that, the Surface Book is “the ultimate laptop”. He also added that it is the thinnest and most powerful PC ever created.

The so called laptop, Surface Book, has a 13.5-inch screen and weighs 3.34 pounds with a detachable keyboard. This Surface Book, putting it into the competition with Apple's MacBook Air and many of its partners who make the class of lightweight laptops known as ultrabooks.

Besides the hardware side, Nadella has focused on the building of software and services. But at the stage, Microsoft's Surface leader Panos Panay tied the new laptop and other gadgets directly to the Nadella's strategy of expanding Microsoft by bringing the best of what Windows can do.

Microsoft Ventures create its own laptop by leaving the hardware partners who have created for years the PCs running on the company's Windows software. This time, the company has clearly intended for the flagship of its device with high end components and flashy premium designs.



The laptop features a 6 million pixels on the screen and layered with the Gorilla Glass and PixelSense touch technology as the Surface Pro 4 tablet, which is shown at an event in the New York. By having the huge amount of pixels, the Surface Book delivers a scorching sharp display.

The display of the Book can be disconnected from the base to allow the laptop Figuration into a tablet. Microsoft said that, it can be beneficial to be used as like a clipboard for sketching with the dedicated Surface Pen stylus. It has backlit keys and a glass trackpad.

The Surface Book will going to be available at $1,499 from October 26.
