New Samsung Serif TV is Inspired by Serif Font

As the technology is taking a huge leap with the passage of time, man is becoming more lazy as the techno products are taking its place. With ever revolutionary technology, televisions, the best leisure time source is getting thinner and thinner. Larger size, thin width and HD clarity are the major traits that are curtained by the latest televisions. But in contrary to this, Samsung is working on a different design. Samsung is manufacturing a new design, inspired from the 'I' alphabet written in serif font. Because of that, they have named the product as Serif TV.

The TV is designed by designed by Parisian brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Prior to that, they were working for Vitra and Alessi.  Commenting on this new design, they stated that 'Like typographers designing a letter, we studied both the object and its interaction with the space around it,'. Its re-design variants will even be capable to offer bluetooth speakers, access to clock, apps, photo gallery and many more features. Not only this, this smart set is given an impressive outlook which makes it a furniture of your house.

The company has manufactured it in three sizes and colors unveiled at Somerset House in London as part of the London Design Festival. As per its availability is concerned, this set will be made available in UK and Europe with a price tag of approx £1,199.
