Samsung Showcased Chromebook 3 For INR 14000 At CES 2016

South Korean company Samsung just revealed Exynos 7 Octa 7870 processor for the smartphones. This processor chip is entitled to bring a complete overhaul to the mobile experience a user goes through these days. In another breaking news, the company has now also come up with its Chromebook 3 that it unveiled at CES 2016 adding another new variant to its existing Chromebook lineup.

The gain in Chromebook's popularity forced the company to launch its first ever Chromebook in 2011, that was further enhanced by the launching of multiple variants of the electronic device over the years. The latest Chromebook-3 is now officially being showcased on the company's official website with a price tag of INR 14000 (approx. $200) which is indeed cheaper than its previous sibling Chromebook 2 which was launched in 2014 at a whopping price of INR 27,600 (approx. $400).The product might also be made available for purchase on the popular e-commerce website Amazon.

In terms of specification, the device measures 288.5x204.2x17.7mm and carries a weight of 1.4kg. With this product, the company has also ditched its plastic body casing replacing it with a metal body that gives the notebook a more premium look and better resistance. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2x2 and Bluetooth 4.0 alongside one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Chromebook 3 sports an 11.6-inch HD display with anti-glare and gives a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. It won't be wrong to say that this notebook is completely an Intel product as it is powered by Intel Celeron N3050 processor, sports Intel HD Graphics, and offers two RAM variants (2GB or 4GB of RAM) along with 16GB of eMMC internal storage. The presence of a 33Whr battery as well can keep the Chromebook 3 running for up to 11 hours on a single charge as per claimed by the company. This again is better than the Samsung Chromebook 2 that offered up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
