Samsung Unveiled Thinnest Galaxy Tab S2 Reviewed: Lighter Android Tablet

The South Korean company, Samsung announced the launch of its newly built Galaxy Tab S2 in India, which is reviewed as the Ultimate Android Tab. It is offered at a price tag of Rs 39,400.

The voice calling tablet will be available in Gold, Black and White color variants. Company claims that it is the World's Slimmest tab with 5.6mm thickness, that was launched world wide in July 2015.

Samsung has collaborated with Airtel to offer 2GB RAM, 4G data per month for consecutive 2 months to the S2 owners. Samsung Tablets also preloaded with a Galaxy gift offers worth Rs.31,000.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 features 9.7-inch QXGA (2048*1536 pixels) resolution Super Amoled display and is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The tablet is powered by company's own octa-core Exynos 5433 processor (four cores with 1.9GHz + four cores with 1.3GHz) and enhanced with 3GB of RAM.

For the camera section, it includes 8-megapixel autofocus rear snapper with f/1.9 aperture and 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter. It has an internal storage of 32GB that is expandable to 128GB.

On the connectivity options to explore, the smarttab comes with 2G/ 3G, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 BLE, GPS, GLONASS and Micro-USB. Additionaly, it is enabled with accelerometer, fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, compass, hall sensor, and RGB sensor.

The tablet measures 169*237.3*5.6mm, weighs 392 grams and is packed by a 5870mAh huge battery, rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time.

Samsung India Electronics Director, Product Marketing, Manu Sharma has officially disclosed that Galaxy Tab S2 is equipped and pre-loaded with Microsoft Office solutions to withcast ultimate productivity for creating and editing documents. Adding further, it has a new feature known as “Side Sync”, that helps consumer to replicate and control a smartphone or a laptop via tablet itself.
