What is the secret behind Google Glass and Ray Ban Deal

Google is planning to make its new internet connected glasses more elegant and stylish with the decision of having partnership with the World's biggest Eye Glass maker Ray-Ban and Oakley frames.

The tie up with Italian eyewear company Luxottica Group, on Monday delineates Google's latest wearable gadget look more attractive as it efforts to develop new methods to assure people that they can stay connected to the internet wherever they go. Talking about the last week, Google exposed that fashion accessory maker Fossil Group is working on internet connected wristwatch on the Google's Android platform for mobile devices.

Google Glass is a computing device that adds almost half inch screen just above the right eye of the wearer who can see the internet content anytime, which will be developed by Luxottica. This $1500 priced wearable gadget includes a camera that can click HD pictures and videos without using hands.

Luxottica will probably broaden the Glass. Google is making its mind to place these glasses at various 5000 Luxottica stores in US that will help in promoting the Glass after releasing it in the market.

Google has not revealed the releasing date of Glass yet. Above 10,000 people has bought this Glass from the Explorer program.

For appealing the buyers, Google in the month of January has unveiled four frame styles. That would be outfitted with prescription lenses. These frames will cost to the buyers at around $225.

The price of Luxottica assembled Google Glass won't be publicizing till the date of launching not announced. Along with Ray-Ban and Oakley, Luxottica’s other brands adds Vogue-Eyewear, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Alain Mikli and Arnette in the deal.
