Airtel, Vodafone Announces New Voice Call Offers And Plans

Airtel has launched a new postpaid plan under its 'myPlan Infinity' arrangement, bringing less expensive price choices for boundless voice calling. The plan starts at Rs. 1,119 and offers unlimited voice calling, with SMS and 3G/4G combos. The new Rs. 1,119 arrangement offers boundless voice calling (local, STD, and national roaming), alongside free 100 SMSes every day, and 1GB of 3G/4G data.There is additionally free membership to Airtel's new applications Wynk Music and Wynk Movies.

For more data, clients can select the Rs. 1,599 arrangement which offers unlimited voice calling (local, STD, and national roaming), alongside free 100 SMS for every day, and 5GB of 3G/4G information. This arrangement additionally offers free membership to Wynk Music and Wynk Movies applications. There are other alternatives of Rs. 1,999, and Rs. 2,999 which offer 10GB and 20GB of 3G/4G data respectively.

"With 'myPlan Infinity' we are making voice calls free for our customers and offering them the flexibility to combine this benefit with their individual data requirements. With the new price points, we have made the proposition even more affordable and this will benefit customers with very heavy voice usage," Ajai Puri, Director - Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said in a statement.

On the other hand, Vodafone India under its Vodafone Delights offer has presented free 10-minute talk time to users whose conversation gets hindered for any reason, an organization statement said on Friday that is aimed at bettering its image in the present situation of successive call drops. "Each conversation on our network is important and must carry on uninterrupted. At times, however, conversations do get interrupted. To continue such conversations, we are offering 10-minute talk time benefit, no questions asked," said Sandeep Kataria, Director - Consumer, Vodafone India.

To avail these users need to SMS "BETTER" on 199 and talk time of 10 minutes will be credited quickly (in 30 minutes) to their number. This initiative on voice follows close on the heels of the up to 67 percent data benefit to customers, announced earlier this week. For prepaid users, the free minutes will be valid till following day midnight and for postpaid users till the end of the billing cycle. Vodafone says the free talk time credit can be profited once in the month-long bonanza and is relevant just when calling from a Vodafone to another Vodafone number inside the same circle. Vodafone is dispatching this crusade this August, which is the Vodafone Delights month and this 360-degree campaign that is based on the keynote of 'conversations should always continue'.
