The month of September seems like it is bringing the rain of electronic gadgets on the land. In this foray, Sony is also coming in this rain to spread the fragrance of its soil everywhere with three new smartphones, one tablet and two smart wearables. The event of the Japanese manufacturer has been scheduled for September 3 and just a day before, the leaks are revolving around the Internet to give the prior information regarding its products.
As per the leaked reports, it is said that 2 wearable gadgets SmartWatch 3 and SmartBand Talk will be arriving in the event along with three smartphones Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia E3 and a tablet Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
9to5Google has suggested the unveiling of these two smart wearables at IFA event. It is speculated that Sony SmartWatch 3 will run on Android Wear platform just like Samsung Gear 2 Neo. It may get the 1.68-inch display which can be capable to offer 320x320 pixels resolution. It is also claimed by the report that the smartwatch will be certified with IP58 which will make it the water-resistance gadget to wear.
It is also expected that a fitness tracker, called SmartBand Talk will also be unveiled in the same event. It is the successor of Sony SmartBand SWR10 which is said to have Bluetooth connectivity option which can be capable enough in showing notification alert when the wearable is connected to smartphone. It will also get E-Ink display as per the leaks and reports.
Reports are also claiming that 3 smartphones will also be showcasing. Two of the smartphones will be high-end devices of Company while the one would be speculated as affordable handset. Two premium devices, Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact has been holding the rumours for a long time for its specs and built. On the other side, Xperia E3 is considered as Company’s budget offering at the expected price of $200 (approx Rs. 12,000) or $300 (approx Rs. 18,000).
Xperia E3 is said to have 4.8-inch HD display that will offer the screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is also expected to come with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The size of RAM is not confirmed but it might be equipped with either 1.5GB or 2GB of RAM. However, its non water-resistant nature may be the disappointing one.
On the other side, Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact are said to have 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM. It is expected that Xperia Z3 will feature 5.2-inch Triluminos display and will be loaded with software caching improvements to make it long-live for 2 days. It is expected to certified with IP68. While Z3 Compact will get 4.7-inch 720x1280 pixels (HD) display and certified with same IP68 certification.
The last one is the waterproof Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact which is reported as thinnest and lightest tablet in the world with 6.4mm thickness. It is also claimed to equip with 8-inch full-HD display that will offer 1080x1920 pixels resolution and will embed with 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 3GB of RAM.
