Intex seems very busy in developing products to expand its business in the 4G smartphone market. After announcing Aqua 4G+, the domestic mobile manufacturer has brought another handset in the same fray, dubbed, Aqua Trend. At the price tag of Rs. 9,444, this smartphone can be purchased from any offline and online store across India.
Well, as company claimed that it will support 4G data, but it's obscure which network band it will support. It flaunts a 5-inch IPS display which offers HD (720x1280 pixels) screen resolution. This dual SIM smartphone brings great user experience as it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Intex Aqua Trend acts like a performance beast with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor which works efficiently with 2GB RAM. It is huge enough for smooth multitasking and quite appreciable for a smartphone under the budget segment.
On storage front, this smartphone comes integrated with 16GB built-in storage which can further be expandable upto 32GB using micreoSD card. On imaging side, company has carved a 13MP camera on rear panel so wonderfully with LED flash to offer great picture output. On front end, the phone is equipped with 5MP snapper which captures beautiful selfies.
Well, along with 4G LTE, Aqua Trend also offers Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB connectivity options to meet with the purpose. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery and has 8.9mm sleek body. HotKnot file transfer technology also comes preloaded in this device to offer NFC-like treatment in file transferring.
On the other side, company has plans to invest about rs. 300 crores to increase the revenue for promotional programmes of its mobile phones and other products.
