After the 4G network came into effect in India, the smartphone makers have geared up towards what is up-to-date. The very attractive offers from the telecom companies on the most updated fourth generation network in India, forcing the manufacturer to build the supportive headsets.
The same race brings more competition among the smartphone produced in the country to make available the phones at low prices.
Joining the race, Videocon came up with its latest 4G VoLTE support, Ultra30 smartphone at a very competitive price of INR 8, 590 and exclusively available on Snapdeal. Back in October this year, Videocon launched Ultra50 headset, and now further expanding its 4G lineup the company added Ultra30 with several remarkable features including 4000mAh powerhouse and front flash.
The 4G featured Ultra30 gets a generation-old Android 6.0 Marshmallow and share specifications with its elder sibling, Ultra50. It has a large 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution of 720x1280 with MiraVision and DragontrailX 2.5D curved glass. The processor details of the Ultra30 include a 64-bit 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek which is paired with the 32GB of inbuilt storage and can be further expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card.
Offered with dual sim configuration, the Ultra30 comes with a bigger powerhouse battery of 4,000mAh compared to the Ultra50 which has 3,000 mAh power-pack. The new one also features a fast charging system. To click pics, it gets a 13-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash at the rear featuring PDAF and gorilla glass lens, and it gets a 5-megapixel camera at the front with LED flash to click selfie even in low light. Videocon claims that the primary camera gets an inbuilt Smart Wide Dynamic View (SWDR) and ISOCELL technology to create a panorama and click sharp images in low lights.
Speaking on the launch, Akshay Dhoot, Head of Technology & Innovation, Videocon India, said, "With the launch Ultra30 today, Videocon Smartphone continues to be a brand that constantly innovates in order to offer best in line smartphones. It has been our endeavour to stay ahead and lead the constantly changing."
The standard features list on the Ultra30 includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and FM radio. Some built-in applications include dual WhatsApp, SOS-be-safe and gesture controls. Dimensionally, it measures 144 x 73.8 x 9.8mm, and has a total weight of 166.5 grams. It is available in Blue gold colour.
