It has been long since the Taiwanese company Acer introduced or launched any of its product in the market. The company introduced its last Acer product under the name Acer Liquid M330 smartphone in September last year that was based on latest Windows operating system i.e., Windows 10 and now the company has officially launched the handset with a price tag of INR 6,650 (USD 99.99). Also, as per the latest reports, the GSM-based smartphone is now available for purchase from official Microsoft store in the U.S. region right from this month.
Despite being a Windows product, Acer Liquid M330 is available in both Single-SIM and Dual-SIM and dons the entire Microsoft Office suite in it inclusive of Microsoft Edge, Outlook, OneDrive, Microsoft Office, Cortana, and Glance Screen, which also gives the users the possibility of looking at their notifications without struggling with their lock screen passwords or pattern locks.
It must be noted that Microsoft alongside focusing on bringing its latest OS on a wide number of handsets is also making furious attempts on bringing its copyrighted apps on major Android smartphhones and this proves true since the company in February stated that it has 74 Android hardware partnes in 25 countries and now with Acer also getting included, the total count becomes 75. All these OEM's either pre-install or might pre-install official Microsoft apps on their Android smartphones and tablets and as per reports Acer plans to do the same from the second half of 2016.
On the specs front, the new Acer Liquid M330 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display giving a resolution of 480x 854 pixels and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor. The handset comes with a 1GB of RAM coupled with 8GB of onboard storage and with 136x66.5x9.6mm dimensions. The company has euipped the handset with the same 5-megapixel camera on both the rear and front side adding several modes like Gourmet, Favorite Shot, and Bright Magic Selfie.
In terms of connectivity options, the Liquid M330 include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 and houses a 2000mAh battery that as per Microsoft can easily deliver up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 230 hours of standby time.
