Alcatel unveils Flash 2 with 4G support at Rs. 9,299

Alcatel smartphone has been launched to hitch the ground with its portfolio device as Flash 2 to sport high specs within the budget range. The smartphone is unveiled to feature 4G connectivity option at a price tag of Rs. 9,299. It will be exclusively sold out via Flipkart from October 27.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD HD display (720x1280 screen resolution) with 5-point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. It will be sold out in Volcanic Grey color variant. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T720MP4 GPU and paired with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. The device has under the hoods storage of 16GB that is expandable to 128GB via microSD card.

It has a 3000mAh battery on board to provide a great power backup. The battery life is rated to last for 25 hours on a single charge on 2G network. The connectivity options to explore are Indian 4G bands, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB. The dual-SIM handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The shooter’s front has 13-megapixel rear-camera (Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL Sensor) with Phase Detection Autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. It has a support of autofocus zone and has a facility of getting up to 4 times digital zoom and can record videos in full-HD video resolution. Further it bears a 'realtone' flash module. On the front side, a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and support for autofocus is provided. It has a built-in feature of Beauty Mode and V Gesture recognition features. Additionally sported with LED flash.
