The Taiwanese based Company Asus has revealed two new smartphones, Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro ZD552KL and Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie ZD553KL ahead of their official launch. The smartphones will officially launch by the Company on 17th August. Both the new smartphones of Asus have been mentioned on the company's online retail store along with specifications and images. However, it is not mentioned when the smartphones will be available for purchase.
It is expected that Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Selfie will be available at an EUR 399.99 (approximately Rs. 30,050), and EUR 299.99 (roughly Rs. 22,550) respectively. As the name suggests both the smartphones have more emphasis on selfies and both of these come up with a dual selfies camera.
In terms of optics, it is tipped that Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro sports a dual selfie (front- facing) camera with a 24-megapixel lens and 5- megapixel lens. Whereas, the ZenFone 4 Selfie comes up with a 20-megapixel lens and 8-megapixel for taking selfies and video calling. At the rear front, both the smartphones feature a 16- megapixel cameras.
Both the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and the ZenFone 4 Selfie have a 5.5-inch display but the Pro model of Asus packs a Full HD AMOLED display along with a screen resolution of (1080x1920 pixels), while the standard Selfie variant sporting an HD LCD display along with a screen resolution of (720x1280 pixels). The Zenfone Selfie Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and paired with 4GB RAM. On another hand, the regular ZenFone 4 Selfie feature a Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 4GB RAM.
Both the smartphones are powered by a 3000mAh battery but have minute changes in their measurements and weight. The Pro model of Asus measures and weighs 154.02x74.83x7mm and 145 grams respectively. Whereas the regular variant of Asus measures 55.66x75.9x7.85 and weighs 144 grams. In terms of storage both the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro and ZenFone 4 Selfie packs a 64GB inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD. Both the variants runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Both the models, supports 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.1 on the connectivity front. Fingerprint Sensor is placed in the home button. Apart from these, the company has announced to offer 2 years of warranty both these latest Asus smartphones.
