Asus ZenFone 4 Max With Dual Rear Camera Setup, 5000mAh Battery Launched

Asus, the renowned Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, on Tuesday, introduced its first smartphone in ZenFone 4 series dubbed as Asus ZenFone 4 Max at Russia. The highlighting features of the handset are its massive 5000mAh battery and the availability of a dual rear camera setup. The new Asus ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) will soon be available in Russia with a price tag of RUB 13,900 (Rs 15,000 approx), but the company hasn’t revealed any word on the global availability of the new product.

The new offering by Asus is believed to be one of the five ZenFone models, which are yet to be launched later this month. The new ZenFone 4 Max has arrived in 2 different models based on their processors, including a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC powered model and the other powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. However, the company has only revealed pricing for the Snapdragon 425 SoC model.

Coming next to the specifications, the Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and runs the latest ZenUI version based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

As we have already mentioned above, the highlighting features of the Dual-SIM smartphone are believed to be the availability of a massive 5000 mAh battery and a dual rear camera setup. It also comes with fast charging capability and can be used as a power bank, which is standard in all of the upcoming ZenFone smartphones.

In term of optics, the GSM handset packs a dual rear camera setup including two 13-megapixel sensors along with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. An 8-megapixel front shooter with f/2.2 aperture is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. The new ZenFone 4 Max measures 154x76.9x8.9mm and weighs 181 grams.
