Asus Zenfone 5 Series Smartphone To Make Debut At MWC 2018

Asus is all prepared for this year's Mobile World Congress. The Taiwan-based company Will launch a whole range of Zenfone 5 smartphones and invites for the event have been sent.The accreditation of Zenfone 5 Max from Wi-Fi Alliance strongly hints about the possible range of phones that would be showcased at the event. Like its predecessor the Asus Zenfone 5, Max will come with a giant battery and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. GizmoChina was the first to break the news. The device was certified on January 26 and had the model number ASUS_X00QD. The earlier Zenfone 4 Max which was never launched in India was modestly priced by global standards and had a giant non-removable 5,000mAh battery, dual cameras and launched at an affordable price globally.

In the USA, the Asus has launched the new Zenfone Max Plus (M1) which features a full HD+ display and dual cameras. The new Zenfone 5 phone will in all likelihood borrow some of its features from its American kin.

Going by the buzz and the rumors doing the rounds at the MWC, Asus may also launch the Zenfone 5 which carries an 18:9 display and powered by a Snapdragon chipset. The phone has already received certification in Russia.

The 2018 MWC will witness a whole lot of product launches and updates, concept phones, software and security updates and many other exciting events of big global companies. The list includes the likes of Xiaomi, Sony, HMD Global and many more.

The launch of Samsung’s flagship offering Galaxy S9 and the S9+ on February 25th is one of the most awaited events of the MWC. Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2S powered by the flagship Snapdragon 845 chipset as well as HMD Global’s Nokia 9 will most probably make their debut during the event too.
