It seems that the Asus, Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, has started working on the ZenFone 6 (2019) flagship smartphone. The alleged photos and hands-on video of Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) have surfaced online which reveal that the smartphone has a tiny notch (offset display) on the right-hand side giving room to the front- camera.
All the smartphone manufacturers are offering notch on the central position in their flagship devices but it looks like that Asus would offer something different from other players which stands it out from the crowd. We can see in the leaked images that the smartphone has an earpiece which is placed in between the top bezel and the metallic frame.
Apart from the offset display, the device has a metallic unibody design along with a glass panel on the front and rear back side. The leaked images reveal that the device has dual cameras on the rear panel coupled with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. Asus branding logo can be seen sporting on the rear side.
At the lowest end, the device has a speaker grill, a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a USB Type-C port. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2019 which is scheduled in between 25 Feb - 28 Feb 2019 in Barcelona.
Seemingly, the device which is available in the leaked images is a concept phone of the ZenFone 6 (2019), the final touching of the device is still remaining. The latest report suggests that the device has dual cameras on the rear panel while the previously leaked reports had suggested the triple sensors on the rear panel.
The arrangement of camera sensors and the fingerprint scanner is not matching with the current reports. It is also possible that there might be two different models of the ZenFone 6 (2019).
It is being assumed that the detailed specifications of the rumored ZenFone 6 (2019) would be unveiled in the near future.
