Asus’s latest flagship smartphone ZenFone AR has been launched in India on July 13. The phone will go on sale on Flipkart from 4 PM today at the exclusive price of Rs. 49,999. Asus ZenFone AR was first revealed at CES 2017 and immediately attracted the attention of users with its enormous 8GB of RAM. ZenFone AR is also the world’s first phone to provide support for both Google Tango augmented reality (AR) and Google Daydream virtual reality (VR) platforms to give users a unique experience in the world of augmented reality.
Apart from its gigantic RAM and the unique AR/VR support, the new Asus smartphone is enriched with a lot of other features that make it suitable for this price category. Talking about the price, the Asus ZenFone AR is being sold at Rs. 49,999 in India.
Asus ZenFone AR Specifications
Among many features of the newly launched Asus smartphone, the most noticeable one is its 23-megapixel rear sensor camera that features dual-PDAF, OIS, EIS, and laser autofocus, in addition to motion tracking sensors and an Infrared (IR) Rangefinder. The phone has been launched in a dual-SIM (Nano) black color variant in the country. It runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat based on ZenUI 3.0.

Asus ZenFone AR comes with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display featuring Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The processing speed and camera are two of the most powerful features of the ZenFone AR. The 23MP rear camera is equipped with motion tracking and depth sensing to take more real looking photos. The phone also has an 8MP camera at front.

Asus ZenFone AR phone is being sold exclusively on Flipkart in the Black color variant. Among the various launch offers, the most attractive one is being offered by Reliance that includes 100GB additional data and free Jio Prime subscription for all buyers. Flipkart, itself is offering a Rs. 2,500 discount on the purchase of Google Daydream View VR headset along with the phone.
